  However, it seems that nail polish quality was questionable. I left the place around 10 am in my flip flops. Walked around outside for around 3 hours and later on spend an hour in the hotel. I was sure that nail polish was dry (4 hours!), however both big toe nails were completely destroyed once I put my ballerinas on! Not sure if it was too much of the nail polish or if it was old - something was definitely wrong. I called the place for a touch up (heeeey, paid 40 euros after all) but first - they blamed me/climate and then proposed a new appointment the next day (!). No apologies, nothing. Super poor customer service skills!

  The place is small and was busy (many customers = good sign). The staff was lovely. I had a nice chat with lady doing my pedicure and felt pampered. So even though there were small shortcomings (feeling slightly cramped, not the nicest smell in the pedicure room), I was OK with the whole experience overall. It is a Gran Canaria after all, a holiday treat - some flaws were expected (although prices are bit higher than in other places in the area).
